Evan Abraham

Evan Abraham is the Founder and CEO of V-Build Construction Group Ltd., bringing a lifetime of construction experience, an entrepreneurial vision, and an uncompromising commitment to quality to every project the company undertakes. Evan grew up in the construction industry, learning the business firsthand alongside his father, Abdi Abraham. Through the family company, Vision Construction, Evan was exposed to large-scale construction and development from an early age. Vision Construction earned recognition for its work on major apartment complexes and commercial high-rise buildings, providing Evan with an invaluable foundation in construction management, development, and the execution of complex projects. Building on that experience, Evan founded V-Build Construction Group Ltd. in 2007 with a vision of creating a construction company distinguished by exceptional workmanship, attention to detail, integrity, and a highly personalized approach to its clients. Under Evan’s leadership, V-Build has built an impressive portfolio spanning spectacular custom homes, commercial real estate, and extensive home renovations. From highly detailed residential projects to complex commercial properties, Evan brings the same disciplined approach to every build—combining thoughtful planning, skilled craftsmanship, strong project management, and an unwavering focus on the finished product.As a second-generation builder, Evan understands construction from the ground up. His hands-on knowledge is complemented by years of experience working with homeowners, developers, architects, designers, consultants, and trades. That perspective allows him to see beyond the individual components of a project and understand how design, construction, budget, scheduling, and execution must come together to deliver an exceptional result.Today, Evan continues to lead V-Build with the hands-on philosophy that has defined the company since its founding. While deeply rooted in generations of construction knowledge, his focus remains firmly on the future—expanding V-Build’s presence in custom residential construction, commercial real estate, renovations, and development.For Evan, the V-Build name represents more than construction. It represents a commitment to building lasting relationships, delivering exceptional work, and creating properties that stand the test of time.

Dave Sereny Development | V-Build Dave Sereny brings decades of hands-on business, development, and project management experience to V-Build, a construction company founded by Evan Abraham in 2007. With a career spanning the lumber industry, large-scale industrial projects, corporate leadership, and real estate development, Sereny brings a valuable owner-and-developer perspective to V-Build as the company continues to grow. Sereny began his career in the lumber business, where he developed a strong foundation in operations, construction, logistics, and project management. His experience included managing projects for Green Forest Lumber across Ontario, from the Chapleau Forest Products lumber mill to distribution yards in Fort Erie and Windsor. Working across complex industrial and distribution environments gave Sereny a practical understanding of what it takes to move a project from planning through execution. His business experience later expanded into corporate leadership, including serving on the board as GFL entered the public markets. That experience provided Sereny with additional insight into governance, growth, capital markets, and the demands of scaling an organization. Following his exit, Sereny turned his attention to development, bringing together his operational background and entrepreneurial approach. He went on to develop and build the Rose Club in partnership with Urban Quest Construction and its CEO, Glen Cohen, further strengthening his experience in bringing ambitious real estate and construction projects from concept to completion. Today, Sereny brings that depth of experience to V-Build. Working alongside founder Evan Abraham and the V-Build team, he contributes a developer’s perspective grounded in decades of real-world experience—understanding not only how projects are built, but how opportunities are identified, partnerships are formed, challenges are managed, and successful developments are delivered. As V-Build enters its next stage of growth, Sereny’s experience, relationships, and development expertise help position the company to pursue larger opportunities while maintaining the practical, hands-on approach that has been central to V-Build since its founding in 2007.

Our Story:

In 2005,  Evan Abraham embarked on his first major project: building his own home. It was a labor of love that tested his skills and resilience, but the satisfaction of creating a space that reflected his vision was unparalleled. This experience solidified his commitment to the construction industry and ignited a desire to share that passion with others.

Evan soon realized that the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) was in need of a fresh approach to homebuilding-one that prioritized quality, innovation, and community.  With determination and a small team of like-minded tradespeople, he founded V-Build.  His mission was simple: To create homes that were not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable.  

 

Working only by referral and word of mouth, V-Build began to grow. Each project was a testament to Evan’s hands-on approach, ensuring that every detail met his high standards.  As the company flourished, it became a hub for skilled tradespeople, employing electricians, plumbers, carpenter, and architects, creating a collaborative environment where everyone contributed to the final product.

  

Over the years, Each house is crafted with care, reflecting Evan’s vision of building not just structures, but communities.  His commitment to excellence and innovation has earned V-Build a reputation as a leader in the GTA construction scene.
